Pertama Crane & Engineering Sdn Bhd is a pioneer and premier supplier of crane lifting services in Southern Malaysia, with offices serving Selangor and Northern Malaysia since 2002.
Our story
Pertama means “first”, and that is where our story begins. In the 1960s we started renting mechanical truck-mounted lattice boom cranes to contractors in Southern Malaysia. As the industry moved on, so did we. Today our fleet is fully hydraulic, ranging from compact 7-tonne rough terrain cranes to 250-tonne crawler cranes with fly jib and 150-tonne crawler tower cranes.
In 2002 we expanded beyond our Southern base, opening offices to cover Selangor and Northern Malaysia. Our head office is now in Bandar Tropicana Aman, Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor, close to the Klang Valley’s industrial and infrastructure projects.
What we do
We supply cranes, operators and lifting expertise to the construction, industrial, power plant and oil & gas sectors. Whether you need a single mobile crane for a day or a planned heavy lift with crawler cranes, lifting studies and site supervision, we give practical advice on the right machine and the safest method.
- Well maintained, up-to-date fleet. Our cranes are serviced by our own maintenance team so they arrive on site ready to work.
- Trained, safety-conscious operators. Every crane comes with a competent operator who knows the machine and follows your site’s safety rules.
- In-house engineering department. Our engineers prepare lifting studies, lifting plans and rigging drawings for critical and tandem lifts.
- Breakdown support. A standby service team minimises idle time if a crane needs attention on site.
- Transport included. Our 5-axle Hino and 6-axle Volvo low loaders move cranes and heavy plant to and from site.
Where we work
We operate across Peninsular Malaysia, from our Southern roots through Selangor and the Klang Valley to Northern Malaysia. Our cranes have worked on power plant construction at Jimah, the LRT3 line, piling and bridge sites and industrial plants.
